These are magazine layout design explorations using greek copy and stock photography. The challenge was to create depth with the layouts using a variety of strategies such as masking, overlapping and grid principles. Layout design is one of my personal favorite types of graphic design because of its inherent limitations like the page size and a set amount of copy that must fit on the page. Finding the balance between negative space and content is a balance and using tone, color and scale you can really stretch your solutions.
